Evening commuters in the Burlington area could see smoke spewing from the Lahey Hospital parking garage after a car reportedly caught on fire Friday evening, June 9.

Smoke was seen as far from the Barnes & Noble down the road, according to a video posted by Ernie covino III (@covinoec3) on Twitter. The fire was reportedly on the roof of the garage.

Burlington Fire confirmed to Daily Voice that crews did put out the fire and that no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
